Q: I need help finding specific information about MKCREATIVE?
There are several ways to find all kinds of information about MKCREATIVE and its professional development classes for nonprofits and community media organizations. Visit our Knowledge Base (under construction) which contains a wealth of information.
Question: How can I view the class recordings I purchased?
First, login to your account on the MKCREATIVE homepage and click on your name on the upper right. Click on “COURSES” to retrieve any online products you’ve purchased. If you’re not logged into your account, do that first. If you’re still having problems retrieving your downloads, we can help: use our support form (under construction) to let us know you need help.
Question: Is your Web site secure?
When you are on secure Web page, you will notice you’ll notice that the URL you are on now begins with https:// instead of http://. The “s” stands for secure.
MKCREATIVE uses 128-bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. When you are on the checkout tab, which is a secure zone, any information transmitted to us via this zone is encrypted so no one can read it as it travels across the Internet.
Question: How do I join a Class?
Joining a class on a PC, Macintosh, iOS. or Android mobile device is easy. First, visit our course catalog and purchase the class(es) you’d like to attend. When you receive a confirmation e-mail invitation, click the registration link and register for the class. You can then join the class at the scheduled time by clicking the link in your confirmation e-mail, which will be automatically sent to you after registering.
Question: What are the computer or mobile device requirements
- Internet (broadband recommended)
- Speakers/headset is required to hear the presentation
- Access to your computer to install a small plug-in required by the webinar software (see below)
Question: Will I need to install any software to join the class?
Yes. To attend the webinar you will need to download, install, and configure Fuze Video Collaboration software. The first time you join the online class, the Fuze Launcher software will automatically be installed; however we recommend that you manually download it before the class to ensure time for troubleshooting if necessary. Download the installer for your operating system here:

It’s also recommended that you verify your computer’s rich media players before the webinar to ensure that you can view the live video presentation.
Question: Do I need special equipment to join the class?
Participants wishing to connect to audio using Voice over the Internet Protocol (VoIP) will need a fast Internet connection, microphone and speakers. (A microphone is not necessary if you only want to listen.)
Question: Do I need a computer or mobile device to attend the Webinar, or can I simply listen to it over the telephone?
If you only want to listen, call the number in the e-mail notification, enter the access code number and hit the pound sign. You do not need a personal identification number (PIN).
Question: Will the Webinar be recorded?
Yes, and a download link will be sent within a week to all who register for the class. So, be sure to register even if you can’t attend.
Question: Do I have to download the Webinar to view it?
No. We will send you a link to allow you to view the class recording as a video stream in your web browser. There’s nothing to download!
Question: Are Webinars posted on the MKCREATIVE website?
Most are posted within a week of delivery. For Public Webinars, click here or for Members Only Webinars, login to your account and visit “COURSES”.
Question: Do I need a PIN to join the class?
No. You simply have to click on the unique URL sent to you in the confirmation email. It is for you only, so please don’t share it!
Question: If the presenter’s audio is too low for me, what can I do to get more volume
Turn up the internal volume control on your computer, or turn up your speakers. If you are using a telephone, adjust your headset or change its position.
Question: Will there be any Long-Distance or International Toll Charges?
Yes, but only if you choose to use your telephone. If you select Mic & Speakers in the audio section of the control panel on the day of the class, you can listen through your computer speakers and there will be no long-distance charges.
