The Challenge:
How to present an engaging arts and lifestyle magazine television series in a top 50 market where the main competitor is not similar shows on local television, but streaming-video via the Internet.
Our Solution:
MKCREATIVE put together a large team of seasoned television production, animation, and production specialists to produce a television pilot aimed squarely at the public television audience, an audience we support and one more likely to engage with long-form arts and cultural magazine programming.
Supported by a custom website containing rich media, blogs, a private social network, and a large footprint on the top five social networks, the series would both serve as a compelling and reliable guide to “what’s on” locally but also be supported by timely updates and recommendations online. SMS and RSS messaging along with a strategic email marketing campaign would ensure that viewers migrated from the broadcast version of the series to the online experience on a regular basis.
MKCREATIVE and Mystery Trout Productions (our production partner) are proud to have received a Finalist Award at the USA Film Festival for this project.
